The Children with Disabilities Forum
The Children with Disabilities Forum is a Non-Profit Community Interest Organisation and was formed to provide parents, carers and young adults with information, advice and support around issues with SEN. Our SEND families range from children as young as birth to young adults age 25 years who have special educational needs, chronic illnesses, mental health conditions and disabilities.
We want to be a catalyst for positive change and since the start of the CWDF we’ve been driven by the same passion which we initially founded our Non-Profit Community Interest Organisation upon: information, empowerment, and progress.
Our Vision
The Children with Disabilities Forum hopes to have created easy to understand resources, articles and information for parents and carers of children with special needs, disabilities and health conditions to enable them to navigate the system.
We aim to inform and empower families so that they are able to Self-Advocate confidently in order that their children can access the services they need.
